Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

WeScreen Shot 2017-12-03 at 15.52.53 have started to study one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays: a Midsummer Night’s Dream. So far we have found out about the characters at the start of the play and the difficulties they face because of who they love.

We began by learning about Hermia and Lysander and Egeus’ request to Theseus that Hermia be executed if he continues to refuse to marry Demetrius.

We then did some drama based on the conversation between Demetrius and Helena in the forest. On Friday we wrote  letters to an ‘Agony Aunt’ as either Demetrius or Helena to try to get advice about their problems.
